I have loved the Eagles since I first heard them in the early seventies, but never got to see them until March 16th at Charlotte. Great concert!! I was not disappointed. Vince Gill is a great addition and I was impressed with his singing and guitar skills. Steuert Smith, Deacon Frye, and Joe Walsh also just shredded it. Such a treat to see these guys playing together and watching them produce epic solos and duals throughout. Don Henley sounded good, as usual, and it was fun to see him work the drums almost effortlessly. I also appreciate the other talented members of the band who added depth and allowed a lot of the other guys to do other musical parts during the concert. Appreciate Vince Gill filling in for Steely Dan (disappointed about that no-show) and playing with another very talented guitarist for the opener. So glad he is with the band. A fond farewell to The Eagles who sounded clear and harmonious last night at the United Center. Would appreciate more Henley and less Walsh but maybe that's just me. I concur on the upper level seats as having little to no leg room. The concession prices are extravagant. ... Read more
