Born in California, Cornejo debut album titled Alma Vacia' smashed through the charts and sold over 7,000 album-equivalent units, reached number two on the US Billboard Regional Mexican Albums chart and number seven on the Top Latin Albums chart. He won his first award Regional Mexican Album of the Year' in 2022 at the Billboard Latin Music Awards.
